Surion provides state-of-the-art hardware and software that makes real time stocktake possible and more reliable for individually identifiable products. We provide AI software that can integrate with existing CCTV cameras, or we can provide a comprehensive setup of camera equipment. Please note that this is a service that will need to be customised for your specific premises and products. A camera can only identify and count items that it can clearly see and that are distinguishable from each other.
Surion will collect images of your product from different angles and backgrounds to train our neural networks on your specific product or products – so that our AI can see! Like a human eye needs our brains to identify an object, cameras need our AI to associate an object with an image.
The images captured will be fed into our unique training tool and through many iterations, we will train our neural networks to identify your products from different angles and in different lighting conditions.

The Surion team will visit your business and do a physical assessment of the operations and the stock that you will want to be counted.
HOW IT WORKS
The Surion Sense continuously collects data of events per camera and track the responses of each event. Our engineers can use this data to provide you with deeper insights into the patterns of events we are detecting and can then suggest possible further optimisation of the system and solutions.
The information can also be used by you to track for example movements and times of staff, vehicles, deliveries, equipment usage etc.
REPORTING AND ANALYTICS SERVICES
We provide a monthly report of the status and up-time of all equipment connected to the system. Graphs and analytics of events are provided. We do long-term analytics of patterns and irregularities.
The system is checked every second to ensure all cameras and software is running as it should and this gets reported on.
HOW IT WORKS
We know that it doesn’t help to have a system if it is not always on and working optimally. Unfortunately, systems become faulty due to weather, power surges, connectors becoming loose or something as simple as a spider covering a lense. Cameras also require regular updates of firmware.
ONSITE MAINTENANCE SERVICES
We perform quarterly site visits and physical inspection of all equipment. Urgent faults are repaired onsite. Remote repairs happen within 24 hours when it is possible. New guards are trained on the system.
